Step 3 – Brushing Side One (continued)

 
Forechest To Top of Shoulder 
Next move around towards the front of the dog and groom from the middle of the chest to the top of the left shoulder. Always brush the hair forward on the dog.  Brushing the ManeLots of Mane to Brush!
Forehead, Cheek, Face, Ears and Neck 
Finally, finish up the left side of the dog by brushing from the top of his forehead and left cheek .... grooming the head
.... progressing backwards to the point of his left shoulder.

 

Use the small comb to do the face and ears. Use the larger comb and Oliver Mat Splitter for any mats behind the ears.

 All the Way Back to the Shoulder Point
 

Side 1 Done .... Almost 

At this point he should be pretty well groomed on his left side. The only thing remaining is to trim his left front and rear feet, pasterns and hocks.
