Step 3 – Brushing Side One (continued)
 

The Britches and Hind Leg 

Next, move to the britches.

 
With your hair-holding hand, move the hair from the area between the dogs legs to the outside of the thigh and then brush it back into place. Brushing Out the Britches
Move to the skirt area and begin combing out the entire rear leg. Moving from the skirt area towards the center of the dog’s spine between his hips.  The Skirt and Upper Thigh
 

The Tail 

Next, finish out the left rear area by brushing out the left side of his tail.

You can lay the tail flat on the table surface to facilitate pulling the brush through it.  Brushing the Tail
Entire Side - Rib Area, Shoulder, Neck 

Continue to brush the entire left side of the dog moving from the belly towards the spine.
