	Beasley - Former head prostitute in charge of all dining activities at Cari-On. We lost Beasley at the age of 12 to cancer. She came to us through our vet's office when her mother and littermates were abandoned. We will never forget how she kept Vanya in line. She was one of a kind. Beasley 1992 - 2004 Dear Beasley, you arrived in pocket size and Denny would let you ride in his bathrobe. You grew into a lovely tortie with a true tortie-tude to boot. You could turn on the charm when you really wanted a taste of whatever we were eating - ice cream, chicken tacos, Fritos - and then turn it off again just that quick when the goodies were gone. That first taste of ice cream was always followed by a foot shake 'cuz it was oh so cold. You loved Chicken Tacos from Josies too. Every morning you would leap onto the half-door and demand to be petted. You had the loud mouth that Vanya never had so you took charge of the demanding for good stuff in the food bowl. Vanya always claimed the payoff. But, you found a way to get your share by biting his ear. We will miss you. Until we meet again dear girl.

	Vanya - Starpoint's Vanya Kaliostrovich - His Siberian parents emigrated to this country. His father, Kaliostro, and his mother, Naina, were two of the first three Siberian imports into the US, brought in by Elisabeth Terrell of Starpoint Cattery. He was only the second Siberian Cat to come to California. He will always be remembered for his happy attitude, loud motor that always seemed to be running, and his kind nature ... also his distinct dislike for the vet's office. Sadly we lost him to hypertropic cardiomyopathy (HCM). He would have been 14 years old in a few weeks on Cinco De Mayo. Duh....Beasley, what'er we having fer din din? Vanya Kaliostrovich 5/5/92 – 4/8/06 Into our lives there occasionally comes a special pet, one that touches our hearts in ways we never thought possible. Vanya was just such a pet. My dear, sweet Vanya, from the day you arrived at 12 weeks, shipped all the way from Baton Rouge, you came out of the crate purring and it seemed you never stopped. We called you The Good Humor Pussycat and the Dude. You never pretended to be anything but yourself and you were special and oh so loved. Now you are sorely missed. Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge.
